Why We Play coaches conferences scheduled

High school administrative bodies collaborating on first conference.

Leadership from the Minnesota State High School League, Minnesota State High School Coaches Association and the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association are collaborating to offer the first WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conference.

The WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conference is open to ALL coaches, but is specifically intended to assist MSHSL member high schools meet the needs of veteran head coaches who previously met MS122A.33—Head Coach Licensure.

The cost of the WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conference is $99 and will provide coaches who must meet MS122A.33—Head Coach Licensure with both the in-person instruction and the on-line NFHS licensing codes needed to complete the 60 clock hours required by the Statute. This is a cost savings of $71 and is only being offered at the WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conferences on August 1st and 7th.

There are three separate WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conferences to choose from:

August 1, 2013 8:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. Bethel University, St. Paul
August 1, 2013 3:15 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Bethel University, St. Paul
August 7, 2013 9:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. Grand Rapids High School

Registration for all of the WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conferences will begin March 15th, 2013, through the MSHSL Coaches Clipboard Page. Space is limited so register early.

Athletic Administrators (who do not need to meet MS122A.33—Head Coach Licensure) are invited and encouraged to attend the general sessions of the WHY WE PLAY Coaches Conference at no cost. Conference details and registration information will be included in your MNIAAA Conference attendee packet.
