The Green Mill-Hampton Inn Shoreview will host a benefit for the Nick and Laurel Nitti Family, Aug. 10, at 4 p.m.

Nicks Nitti is a former head coach at Mounds View and assistant coach at White Bear Lake. His wife, Laurel, has been battling cancer for nearly 10 years and is now in hospice care at their home. All funds raised at the benefit will go to assist the Nitti Family.

The event, at the Green Mill located at 100 Gramsie Road in Shoreview, near the intersection of Lexington Ave. and I-694, costs $15 and includes food drink and a raffle ticket. Bidding on silent auction items will take place from 4-7:30 p.m.

Donations can also be made at any TCF Bank under the Nick and Laurel Benefit.
