Wild To Host Floor Hockey Tournament For 17-18 Year Olds

The Minnesota Wild will host a free floor hockey tourney for 17-18 year olds May 21

The Minnesota Wild will host a free floor hockey tournament, presented by the Minnesota National Guard, at Xcel Energy Center for 17-18 year olds on Saturday, May 21, 2016 starting at 4 pm.
 
Individuals and groups of students are welcomed to register and participate in the tournament as well as take part in activities surrounding the games including the National Guard Rock Wall, shooting skills games and a special guest appearance by Wes Walz, former Wild captain and current FOX Sports North analyst.

Tournament Details:

Registered participants must present photo ID upon signing in at event
Bracket Style Tournament (single elimination)
Advanced (hockey experience) and novice tiers
Teams of six
One goalie
Five players
Targeting 16 teams (96 total participants)
Sticks and balls to be provided for games (participants may bring their own gloves)
Mouthguard suggested

Passing/Skills Area
Food & Beverages

Military Style Vehicle and Operations Examples
